MORGANTOWN DANCE STUDIO
Classes at the Morgantown Dance Studio are designed both for those who may wish to pursue a career in dance, and for students of all ages who simply wish to enjoy the many benefits of dance. Instructors place students at appropriate levels according to age, experience, and mastery of basic technique. For young children, social and physical development, rather than age, determine placement.

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
Although we do not offer “recitals” for our students, we host an Open House each term to give students an opportunity to showcase their talents. Our students have participated in such productions as Peter and the Wolf and Carnival of the Animals, and since 1996 we have produced The Nutcracker for Morgantown Dance, Inc. with the 2004 and 2005 productions of The Nutcracker presented at Morgantown’s historic Metropolitan Theatre.

Each summer we offer Master Classes and Workshops with noted teachers and choreographers as well as short sessions of technique classes for the serious student. For our younger students we offer Dance Camps and Summer Intensives.
